Strings are to knit. Or crochet. Or tat. Or tie around a package. Strings can be as thin as sewing thread or as thick as a rope, as stiff as wire or as soft as unspun wool. I put on my archaelogist hat and excavated some boxes, drawers and closets this week trying to find a certain yarn I wanted to use. Where did I get all this? What was I thinking? Who thinks when there is fiber to be bought and squirreled away to use for Something Wonderful. Someday. Well, today is Someday and my needles are waiting to turn those strings into pretty things. Come join me. You might find all sorts of other pretty things here too. Other things were hiding in those boxes and closets. Beads, spangles, and a few things even I couldn't identify. But they looked interesting.
